CD Projekt RED has no plans to add a working subway to Cyberpunk 2077

With all the positive changes in Cyberpunk 2077 with the release of update 1.5, not all features desired by gamers will be added to the game with future updates and additions. At least officially.

After running the patch Cyberpunk 2077 one attentive gamer noticed a message in the game that, in his opinion, indicated the imminent addition of a working subway system to the game. Alas, CDPR officially announced that this was not the case.

We are talking regarding an announcement on the Night City subway in-game website, which says when you go to the stations and lines section that “the domain is under development.” This prompted fans to conclude that Night City would still get a subway, like the one in GTA 5.

The party was covered by community manager Marcin Momot message:

I’m sorry to spoil your fun, but it’s not. We have no plans to add the subway to the game.

Fortunately, if modders have proven one thing, it’s the ability to add to games what developers can’t due to lack of time, or don’t want to.

Last year mod came out for PC version Cyberpunk 2077which adds a functional subway to the game with 19 stations and the ability to switch the mode from the first or third person.
