Cazenga health units reinforced with medicines – Jornal OPaís

Health centers based in the municipality of Cazenga (Luanda) were reinforced, on Friday, with various pharmaceuticals and expendable materials valued at two million kwanzas.

The action is the result of the social responsibility of the associations of Malian traders who offered the Cazenga municipal administration various drugs, painkillers, antibiotics, serums, B complex, vitamins and diapers.

On the occasion, the secretary of the Malian Commercial Community in the urban district of Hoji Ya Henda and resident in Cazenga, Amadou Câmara, explained that the action aims to minimize the difficulties faced by health centers in the locality.

In turn, the deputy administrator for the Political and Social area of ​​Cazenga, Constantino de Almeida, said that the gesture will bring some encouragement to all those looking for medical services and medicines in the local health centers.

“The resources will be used to deal with possible outbreaks during this rainy period, with emphasis on cholera and malaria”, said the person in charge, revealing that the resources will be channeled to the municipality’s health centers.

The director of the Cazenga Health office, Caetano Miguel, highlighted that they are in a cholera prevention phase, so these means will reinforce medical and medication assistance work.
