The Anti-Narcotics Police Force (FPA) carried out 14 raids in various neighborhoods of the city of Córdoba, the commune of San Roque and the commune of San Roque, dismantling a drug trafficking ring and seizing 70 kilograms of cocaine, marijuana, US$21 million, $153,000 and vehicle. After a six-month investigation, police carried out operations in the capital’s Centro, Villa Martínez, Argüello and Ameghino Sud neighbourhoods, as well as in San Roque and Malvinas Argentinas, a factory belonging to one of the suspects.

The main investigator is Bolivian and the organization is composed of Peruvians and Argentines (1 female and 7 males in total).
It turned out that they had divided and stored the drugs in several houses and then distributed them to various neighborhoods in the city of Córdoba. Investigators also seized Teflon-jacketed cartridges used to puncture bulletproof vests.

Seized were 491,564 doses of cocaine (more than 70 kilograms) and 45 doses of marijuana, marijuana plants worth $21,027,170 and $153,731, three cars, a motorcycle, a firearm and different items related to the case. All items seized were worth more than $1.7 billion.

The Office of the Third-Shift Anti-Drug Trafficking Prosecutor ordered the surrender of seized items and referred those arrested for serious drug trafficking offenses to court.
