Hu said that when a baby is crying and screaming, if the parents rule out discomforts such as hunger, defecation, cold, stuffy heat, etc., and stop crying after hugging and soothing, then it can be ruled out as abdominal pain; but if the baby is still crying , and show irritability, painful face or pale complexion, the possibility of abdominal pain is higher.
