He former Minister of Health Ginés González García He was summoned to make an investigative statement for next July 10 by the Federal Justice in order to the crimes of embezzlement and abuse of authority, in the framework of the case known as “Vip Vaccination”.
The request had been formulated by the federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano and the Head of the Administrative Investigations Attorney (PIA) Sergio Rodríguez.
For the cause, the former head of the Posadas Hospital, Alberto Maceira, was also cited and previously for June 29; Marcelo Ariel Guille, for July 6, and finally the minister for the 10th of this last month.
Ginés González García: “The Verbitsky thing was a terrible lie”
In the vaccination promoted by the Ministry in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic former president Eduardo Duhalde and family were benefited with the doses; the journalist Horacio Verbitsky, ministers of the current Government and other people. The suspicion is that in some cases it was not appropriate to give up the vaccines since they did not qualify as risk groups.
González García’s summons is for three facts, one of which is for a dozen vaccines once morest Covid 19 that were extracted from the Posadas Hospital to be transferred to the Ministry of Health where they were applied to certain people. The second act was for allowing some five vaccines to be taken to the house of former President Eduardo Duhalde on February 1, 2021. and where it was applied to him and his family, Hilda “Chiche” Duhalde, Juliana Duhalde and María Eva Duhalde; as well as his secretary Carlos Alberto Mao.
It was the then undersecretary of the Ministry Alejandro Costa who administered the vaccines to the Duhalde family And because of his request for an investigation that the prosecutors did something that the judge has not yet resolved.
A third fact is regarding 35 vaccines that were applied at the Posadas Hospital between December 29, 2020 and February 23, 2021, to different people. For the prosecutors, the decision of who was given the vaccines, skipping the corresponding order since they were neither health personnel nor strategic personnel, was made by the then minister who ordered Maceira to deliver the vaccines they had under their custody. Posadas Hospital.
Ginés González García denied the “VIP vaccination” and said it was a “media problem”
That election was “an illegitimate decision, contrary to the bloc of legality and motivated by commitments and personal affinities.”
According to the record, Maceira said that the person who called him was Marcelo Guille, then the Minister’s private secretary, who told him to send the vaccines by order of the latter, as well as when he sent a group of people to be inoculated there.
In the Ministry it was verified that an improvised screen was assembled where, among others, the deputy Eduardo Valdés, the Minister of Defense, Jorge Taiana, were vaccinatedand another group of people, including Verbitksky himself, who was the one who made the fact known in an interview.
The Treasury attorney Carlos Zannini was also benefited, who does not qualify as health personnel but his case is not the reason for which the accused are summoned since he would do so as “strategic personnel.”
With accusations of all kinds, Bullrich and González García crossed over Pfizer vaccines
The ten doses applied in the Ministry were for Seza Manukian, Horacio Verbitsky, Lourdes Noya Aldrey, Matilde Noya Aldrey, Dolores Noya Aldrey, Felix Eulogio Guille, Florencio Aldrey, Jorge Enrique Taiana, Salomón Schachter and Deputy Eduardo Valdés.
The case began due to a complaint by the prosecutor Guillermo Marijuan and some opposition deputies, and initially the judge closed the case considering that the described maneuver did not enter the criminal order but moral, but the Federal Chamber reversed that situation.
The chambermaids Leopoldo Bruglia, Pablo Bertuzzi and Mariano Llorens asked Capuchetti to point to the responsibility of the officials but also to those who received the vaccines.
