A trio of crooks have been caught on surveillance cameras at a Walmart branch stealing an unsuspecting victim’s credit card.
The video footage shows their ride, as they disorient their victim, then grab his credit card.
Released by police in Arvada, Colorado, the video shows the suspects taking aim at a customer who was regarding to leave the store.

A man and a woman first approached the customer, claiming to use a vending machine.
Sorry to say that you must be aware of even casual conversations at the grocery store.
Three criminals can be seen waiting to take advantage of someone checking out.

The man then took out some cash and pretended to find it at the customer’s feet, as if the latter had dropped it

The customer then takes out his wallet to store the money. At that moment, the scammer hands him a new ticket, supposedly found on the ground, too.

However, the thief hands him the note by extending his arm to the victim’s wallet. While the money note hides the wallet, the thief steals the customer’s credit card from it.

The maneuver is extremely fast. The woman who accompanies the thief also makes sure to direct the attention of their victim, so that the latter sees nothing but fire.
In possession of the credit card, the scammers spent a staggering total of $1,994 (C$2,645) at the same Walmart, police report.
The victim reported the fraudulent expenses to his banking institution.
