A 360-second video published by the owner of the famous “Princess of Gold” jewelry store, revealing the trick of 3 women to steal two rings, and surveillance cameras monitored them during the implementation of their plan, as one of them chose from a large number of rings, while the others talked to the seller to distract him until one of them succeeded in seizing two rings .
The video showed the woman while secretly placing the first ring in her bag, then following a few minutes she seized another ring and hid it in her mouth, then took it out to hide it in her hands and left with her friend, while the third kept talking to the seller for a few seconds and took out a bundle of money to count it to delude the seller into buying, then returned it to her bag and left.
After a short while, the Princess of Gold went out to announce in another video that she was able, through some people who guided her regarding the identity of one of the women, to recover the two rings. About 63 thousand pounds.
The security services at the Ministry of the Interior, immediately following the video clip was published, were assigned to take the necessary legal measures and to conduct investigations and collect information. The October Investigation, in cooperation with the Mokattam Investigation in Cairo, was able to identify the accused and found that they were assisted by two men. Coordination took place with the Public Security Authority sector, and the accused were arrested and confessed to committing several similar crimes in different regions.
The Ministry of the Interior revealed the circumstances of the circulation of a publication supported by a video clip on one of the pages on the social networking site “Facebook”, which includes documenting that three women stole gold artifacts from inside a jewelry store in the 6th of October City in Giza.
By examination, it was possible to identify and seize the perpetrators of the incident (3 women “with criminal information, one of whom is required to be executed in 9 judicial rulings” – and two persons) and in their possession (a sum of money – a number of gold jewelry “the proceeds of the theft of the aforementioned shop”).
Confronting them, they confessed that they had formed a gang that specialized in thefts of jewelry stores using the “negligence” method, and that they had escaped using a car “driven and owned by the two aforementioned persons,” and they were instructed to seize the car.
