Zaghloul said that a heart patient is prohibited from undergoing both types of catheterization if he suffers from severe kidney failure, and the reason is due to the danger to his health of the dye that must be injected into his body.

He added: If a heart patient with renal failure undergoes catheterization, the dye may put him at risk of developing kidney failure.
While a heart patient who is undergoing dialysis, he made it clear that there is no objection to examining him or treating him with catheters, stressing that the dye does not pose any danger to his health.
Zaghloul pointed out that there is another reason that prevents a heart patient from performing a catheter, which is “if he suffers from a drug allergy to the dye.”
