Supply offices in all governorates continue to receive orders Add births On ration cards, for four categories of ration card holders, beneficiaries of a solidarity and dignity pension, holders of an integrated services card, beneficiaries of a social solidarity pension, children of martyrs and their wives, and children of alternative families, provided that the age of the children to be added is not less than four years.
The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade aims to add the newborns of the most favored families to the ration cards with a maximum of 4 individuals to the card. For example, the card that has two individuals “husband and wife” registered is entitled to add 2 children, and the card that has 3 individuals registered can add another person, to exchange food commodities at a value of 50 EGP per month for each individual registered on the card through the branches of consumer complexes and exchange outlets spread across all governorates of the Republic, where the Ministry of Supply provides approximately 31 commodities and types of commodities on the ration card within the ration courses, in addition to disbursing subsidized bread at a value of 5 piasters per loaf at a rate of 5 Loaves daily for each person registered with the ration card.
The conditions for adding births to the ration cards for these categories included that the age of the children to be added should not be less than four years, and it includes the name of the card holder, the national number, the ration card number, the number of card members, and the individuals to be added and their national numbers. The Ministry of Supply asked the directorates to send requests to add births to the ration cards. Lists and documents are sent weekly by the Director of the Supply Directorate to the General Office of the Ministry of Supply.
And the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade began receiving requests to add births to ration cardsfrom the supply directorates in some governorates, for four categories of ration card holders, and the request data will be reviewed with the concerned authorities to ensure its validity.
