Castle Talks: Playing with the truth

“The truth is reasonable for people,” declared writer Ingeborg Bachmann in an acceptance speech in 1959. Yes, but how does this relate to the truth? When does it end and where does the lie begin?

This “playing with the truth” is the topic of this year’s Zell Castle Talks in Zell an der Pram Castle. “We always focus on a socially relevant topic, which is then viewed and discussed from different perspectives,” says Martin Brait, pastoral director of the Schärding parish and head of the “Building Bridges” project – this gave rise to the Zell Castle Talks, which were held for the first time in 2018 became.
