Castle Peak Highway motorbike driver died following being sent to hospital in a coma

This morning, a motorcycle on Castle Peak Road was suspected of losing control and “self-frying”. The driver was thrown into a coma due to injuries and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The incident happened at regarding 7 am today (19th) when a motorcycle was traveling along the Kwai Chung section of Castle Peak Road towards Tsuen Wan. When it came to a corner, it was suspected to have lost control and “fired itself” and rammed into a sign. The male driver threw the When he got out, his helmet flew off, and he fell into a coma with serious injuries, and other passing drivers called the police. The male driver was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately died.

At the scene, the motorcycle was severely damaged, and the driver’s belongings were scattered on the grass by the roadside. Police are at the scene investigating the cause of the accident.
