One thousand and 36 citizens from the commune of Cassumbe, municipality of Andulo, province of Bié, benefited, for the first time, from the Identity Card (BI), within the scope of the civil registration mass program and attribution of this document.
The action is from the Justice and Human Rights sector, which distributed the document free of charge to children, young people and adults.
The municipal director of records and administrative modernization of Andulo, Arsénio Neves Tchambangandji, speaking to the press this Friday, highlighted that, for the project, the institution had support from the municipal administration.
The communal administrator of Cassumbe, Mateus Junjuvile, valued the commitment of the justice sector and encouraged the expansion of services to more areas of the municipality, aiming to benefit other citizens.
In Bié, eight thousand 74 Identity Cards issued in 2023 are yet to be collected, at twelve existing Civil Identification posts, due to user negligence.
Last year, more than 79 Identity Cards were issued, 45 thousand of which were processed for the first time, six thousand for the second copy, over 26 thousand for renewals and 70 thousand for endorsements.
