Article 4, point 7, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), must be interpreted as meaning that: a former support administrator, who has exercised his functions in a professional capacity in relation to a person assisted by him, must be classified, within the meaning of that provision, as a ‘controller’ of the personal data in his possession relating to that person, and such processing must comply with all the provisions of that Regulation, in particular Article 15 thereof.
