Casablanca Stock Exchange: Slight rebound at the close

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed on Friday with a slight rebound, its flagship index, the MASI, having evolved by 0.09%, to 12,185.34 points (pts). The MSI 20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, and the Casablanca ESG 10, a thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of socially responsible companies, recorded a slight increase of respectively 0.07%, to 987.3 pts and 0.09%, at 909.53 pts.

The FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid, a benchmark index that tracks the performance of all liquid stocks on the Stock Exchange, remained stable at 10,281.04 pts, while the FTSE CSE Morocco 15, made up of the 15 main stocks on the Stock Exchange Casablanca, ranked by market capitalization, fell 0.06% to 11,285.36 pts.

The highest increases were signed by SMI (4.57% / 1,465 DH), Mechanical Achievements (3.96% / 144.5 DH), Sanlam Morocco (2.93% / 1,300 DH), Jet Contractors (2. 31% / 197.5 DH) and Residences Dar Saada (2.06% / 25.75 DH). In the largest declines, we find Stroc Industrie (-4.99% / 35 DH), Minière Touissit (-3.5% / 1,930 DH), Zellidja S. A (-3.32% / 83 DH), Maghreb Oxygen (-2.42% / 320 DH) and SNEP (-1.64% / 829 DH).
