The Casablanca Stock Exchange started down on Thursday, its flagship index, the MASI, falling 0.23% to 10,753.33 points (pts).
The MASI.20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, lost 0.18%, to 869.87 pts, and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG ratings, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, dropped 0.19%, to 802.74 pts.
Regarding the MASI Mid and Small Cap, thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, it lost ground by 0.15, to 879.43 pts.
As for values, Res Dar Saada (-2.91% to 12.67 dirhams (DH)), Ennakl (-2.46% to 34.51 DH), Afriquia Gaz (-2.34% to 4,004 DH) , Alliances (-1.07% to 65 DH) and Douja Prom Addoha (-0.93% to 7.49 DH) recorded the largest declines.
On the other hand, the highest increases were posted by Disty Technologies (+2.4% to 204.8 DH), Med Paper (+2.04% to 24.5 DH), Sodep-Marsa Maroc (+0.17% at 239.9 DH) and Akdital (+0.13% at 312.5 DH).
The day before the closing, the MASI had offloaded 0.25% to 10,777.63 points (pts).
