Casablanca Stock Exchange: Closing in the red

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed in the red on Thursday, its main index, the MASI, yielding 0.52% to 10,474.35 points (pts).

The MASI.20, an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.36% to 839.23 pts and the MASI.ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG ratings, as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, lost 0.7% to 793.42 pts.

Regarding the MASI Mid and Small Cap, thematic index which calculates the performance of the prices of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, it dropped 0.51% to 863.96 pts.

On the international side, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 fell by 0.49% to 9,565.47 pts and the FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid, a benchmark index that tracks the performance of all liquid stocks on the stock exchange, dropped 0, 54% at 8,698.08 pts.
