Casa Lamm apologizes to an indigenous artisan who was discriminated against in her restaurant

It was the flautist Horacio Franco who pointed out that this Sunday he attended a breakfast at Casa Lamm and among the guests was “an Otomi companion in her traditional clothing. For more than 28 years, the Casa Lamm Culture Center has been given the task of being an educational institution, promoter of art and culture, seeking to give voice and space to all segments of Mexican society”.

He added that the act of discrimination “has nothing to do with the values ​​that for years have guided our work in cultural promotion and dissemination. It is public knowledge that our institution has been on the side of the causes of indigenous peoples and minorities for almost three decades, through constant and varied efforts such as reflection forums, support for hundreds of artists and constant dedication of scholarships for the training of professionals in the field of culture”.
