In a Security Council held this Monday, September 30, in Sabanalarga, the Governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián, presented the Poster of the ten most wanted criminals for the crimes of extortion and kidnapping in the department.
This measure seeks to strengthen the fight against crime in the region, which has been affected by the activity of criminal structures such as the Clan del Golfo and the FARC dissidents.

During his speech, the Antioquia president announced that the Government will offer up to $250 million pesos for information that leads to the capture of the identified criminals.
Among them is José Gonzalo Sánchez, alias ‘Gonzalito’, accused of kidnapping, as well as Wilmer de Jesús Graciano Molina, alias ‘Román’ or ‘Tres Codos’ and Jesús Naced Ciro Ciro, alias ‘Jaimito’, who are involved in several crimes, including forced displacement.

In addition, a reward of up to $50 million pesos has been established for other criminals who operate in various structures.
The Governor also announced the implementation of Safe Educational Environments in the subregion, an initiative aimed at protecting children and young people from the risks of micro-trafficking, where the active participation of parents, merchants and educators will be essential to guarantee the safety of minors.
Finally, the launch of the fourth Antioquia Segura Military and Police Squadron (EMPÁS) was announced, which will be in charge of patrolling the rural areas of municipalities such as San Jerónimo, Sabanalarga and Sopetrán, with the aim of reducing violence and ensuring security. peace of mind in the apartment.
