Johan Orozco, legal representative of the Ruta 5 Civil Society, expressed his request for an emergency rate adjustment that ordinary citizens may find quite complex, due to the daily rise in foreign currency.
Carriers want to “charge the ticket at the price of the dollar” because the fuel comes out at a “dollarized” price
Orozco also informed that, »A bus supplies 50 liters one day a week, that harms the mobility of the Larense population and to obtain income for carriers, who are forced to buy fuel at a dollarized premium price to be able to carry food to their homes and their families.
»The spare parts and all the parts that a car has cost us in dollars. For this reason, the salary of workers in Venezuela must be adjusted at a real cost to the basic basket in order to have a real rate and in accordance with hyperinflation..
