Arequipa: Ticket sales to Lima suspended due to protests on the Panamericana Sur

The 15 interprovincial transport companies that provide service to Lima, suspended the 60 trips they make a day to avoid damage to their vehicles and their passengers being injured.

Last Monday, some companies offered tickets, but they did not assure their passengers that they would be able to pass the blockade that persisted on the South Pan-American highway, at the height of Ica. Others offered the transfer service.

In a tour carried out by La República, it was found that even some companies in the Terrapuerto have not opened their agencies, such as Waybus, Tepsa, Santa Ursula, among others.

In addition, the low influx of passengers in both terminals was noted. The sale for other destinations such as Moquegua, Tacna, Puno and Cusco continues normally.
