The Carrefour supermarket chain has removed fabric elves used as decorations from its shelves and is recalling them from its customers because the noses and pompoms can come off the object, the group said in a press release on Monday. These small elements represent a danger for children under 3 years old, who are likely to ingest them.
These elves with long arms are dressed in green as well as red overalls, a collar and a red hat. The item has the barcode 3616953372919 and has the reference number DE86067. Carrefour recommends that people who have purchased this decorative product return it to the point of sale, where they will be refunded.
For any additional information, the brand’s customer service can be reached from Monday to Saturday at 0800/910.11, between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
