Carpenters donated a Christmas tree – the students had to build it themselves

This year, the students of the Rohrbach school center are looking forward to a very special Christmas tree made of wooden strips, which was created at this year’s work experience day organized by the Rohrbach Chamber of Commerce in the Centro. At the joint stand of carpenters from the Rohrbach district, young visitors had the opportunity to make a model out of many individual wooden strips that ultimately resembled a tree. This has now been sent to the school center by Claudia Kneidinger (Tischlerei Thaller GmbH & Co KG), Carina Mayerhofer (Tischlerei Scheschy GmbH), Alexander Rauch (Tischlerei Andexlinger GmbH) and Stefan Kalischko (Kalischko Tischlerei GmbH) as representatives of the independent carpenters from the Rohrbach district Handed over to Rohrbach. Andreas Höllinger, chairman of the WKO Rohrbach, and managing director Michael Schaubmeier are happy regarding the creative donation: “Thanks to numerous visitors, this sculpture was built during our professional experience day in the Centro this year and now adorns the entrance area of the new school center in Rohrbach-Berg. It symbolizes creativity , modernity and at the same time the tradition that our carpenters in the Rohrbach district live every day.” Of course, the carpenters are happy regarding the good contact with the school and hope to have one or two new entrants into this beautiful craft in the future.
