PEOPLE – “I’m super moved, super happy, obviously.” In Instagram story, Caroline Receveur does not hide her emotion. Since July, the former candidate of Secret Story and influencer shares with her 5.6 million subscribers her fight once morest breast cancer “aggressive, but detected early”.

After keeping her illness a secret for two months, she now decides to regularly document her state of health, her treatment but also her determination and her emotions on the social network. At the beginning of October, the thirty-year-old announced that she had just completed a ” first stage “ towards curing his cancer: “more than 100 days of treatment, and 6 cycles of TCHP chemotherapy”.

After her mastectomy, “everything is ok”

Through an Instagram story in her hospital room, she announced Monday, November 13 that she had just undergone a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, a surgical operation which aimed to “remove remaining cancer cells, affected lymph nodes if any, and removal of the nipple if infected as well”.

An hour later, following seeing her surgeon, it was through a video that she took the floor to announce to her subscribers the results of the operation. “I just saw the surgeon and everything is ok, she announced, moved. They didn’t need to remove any lymph nodes because they weren’t affected, and I was able to keep my nipple too. » In tears, the influencer clarified that she was crying “of relief” and that she was extremely happy with this news.

“I am hopeful that I will learn of my remission”

Even more encouraging, the thirty-year-old added in a following story that the chemotherapy cycles had been very effective on her disease, and that the radiotherapy planned in her postoperative treatment would ultimately not be necessary.

“I will know in a few days if the cancer cells have completely disappeared, and I am hopeful that I will learn of my remission by the end of the week,” she shared optimistically. Positive news, following chemo cycles described by Caroline Receveur as “violent and intense”but who “Worth it”.
