Suffering from breast cancer, detected last July, Caroline Receveur regularly gives her news on social networks. After six cycles of “intense and violent” chemotherapy, she underwent a major operation this Monday to remove any remaining cancer cells in her body, as well as the lymph nodes that would have been affected by her cancer. An operation which lasted five hours.

After this long stay in the operating room, the 36-year-old model posted a video story on Instagram in which she appears in tears. “I cry with relief,” she confided, while having difficulty expressing herself. She explained her conversation with the surgeon following the operation, which went well: “Everything is ok, they didn’t have to remove any lymph nodes, and I was able to keep my nipple. I am super moved and super happy about that.”
“I am hopeful that I will learn of my remission by the end of the week,” added Caroline Receveur in the following story, explaining that she will know within a few days if all the cancer cells have completely disappeared.
