Caroline Désir states her readiness to revise the reform schedule: A Lesson.

Responding to several deputies’ questions on teacher malaise during a parliamentary committee, Ms Désir acknowledged the “heaviness and the accumulation of the various reforms, especially in the fundamental” and said that she was thinking regarding different ways of adjusting the timetable for reforms to make it more sustainable. She stated that she would propose concrete proposals at the government meeting scheduled for next Thursday and present them immediately to the actors of the Pact for teaching excellence, without giving further details. The minister will also consider the procedure to follow for the controversial project on the evaluation of teachers forcefully rejected by the unions at the same meeting.
