USA – American journalist Tucker Carlson believes that representatives of the Democratic Party will replace US President Joe Biden with another candidate to participate in the presidential elections.
“Biden is done, I can bet on that,” Carlson wrote on Twitter.
“A lot of prominent Democrats believe that Biden has brain damage. They think they need to replace him and they’re not going to back down, they’re going to do it, the question is when exactly, if they’re smart they’re going to do it right away,” he added.
The American media agree that Biden’s performance was weak in the first debate with his predecessor, Donald Trump, which took place on Friday evening in Atlanta, as the current US president stuttered and stopped frequently, and did not always formulate his thoughts clearly. At the end of the event, the television camera captured the moment when his wife, Jill Biden, helped him down the stairs.
After this debate, talk increased among politicians and journalists regarding the possibility that the Democrats would abandon Biden as a contender for the position and replace him with another candidate.
