“In the last World Cup, we were eliminated in the round of 16 against a Morocco that was very strong, but our objective in the second participation was to overcome those round of 16. Our futsal has been growing little by little, we have evolved and we are going to continue improving over the years, especially with the momentum of this victory against Spain, without a doubt, we have evolved to reach a historic quarterfinal,” he indicated.

For Carlos Sanz, who also reflected his personal feelings, and stated: “My dream as a young man was to play in a Copa América. Now I’m in a World Cup. And from watching it on television to living it and now to playing in the quarterfinals is a dream, but we are going to try to beat Ukraine,” he said in reference to the Sunday duel that La Vinotinto will hold against the European troop for a place in the semis.
