The university students remained undefeated in seven appearances after dominating Deportivo Valdivia 81-78, with the graceful triple by point guard Sebastián Carrasco, with seven seconds remaining.
The Barlovent native Milano contributed four points, five rebounds, one assist and two recoveries.
Fontena keeps winning
At the Antonio Azurmendy Coliseum, ABA Ancud defeated Deportivo Valdivia 87-78 last Sunday, with five points and three sacks for the Carupanero Fontena.
Previously, on Saturday, the Ancuditans had scored 91-89 against Español de Osorno, thanks to two free throws made by forward Alejandro Vergara with 18 seconds left until the final whistle.
Fontena contributed two boards and a decisive pass as Ancud improved its record to 6-1 and remained second in the Southern Conference, trailing leader UDEC.
Salcedo fell
In the Valparaíso Region, Leones de Quilpué defeated Universidad Católica 76-66, to maintain second place in the Central Conference.
For the felines, the Creoles Sergio Mijares, Jesús Centeno and Moisés Galaviz have not yet made their debut.
For the religious team, the guaro Deiker Salcedo distinguished himself with 11 rebounds, five rebounds and three assists.
