The Puerto Rican actor was admitted to the hospital last Wednesday and shared an update on his state of health in which he stressed that he is in good spirits.

The artist recorded a video yesterday, Friday, from the hospital and explained the reasons for his stay in the hospital.

“I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Yesterday (Thursday) I had an intervention. What happens is that they did an MRI last Friday and among the results of the study came out some accumulations of some fluids in the liver and it must be drained as soon as possible. I have a drain on and at the moment everything is fine, there is no fever, no pain thanks to the prayers of all of you. Cheer up I feel very good, as always. Because whatever happens one has to be in good spirits and grateful. Thank you all for his prayers, ”said the actor accompanied by his wife Lesbia Feliciano.

On his social networks he also shared photos with his daughter Andrea and his wife today, Saturday.

“I continue at the resort. Today, in the company of my daughter and my amada.Me I feel better. Still waiting for culture results. We continue forward! Confident and grateful for his prayers, ”he wrote.

Merced has always maintained her good humor in the midst of the various health situations she has had in recent years. On two occasions he has been diagnosed with cancer. In January 2023, he celebrated that the cancerous nodule that was identified in 2022 in his left lung was no longer present.

The 60-year-old Puerto Rican is not only a liver cancer survivor, but this organ in his body is the product of a transplant following suffering advanced cirrhosis in 2010. In addition, he received a kidney transplant at the end of 2019.
