Published in the collection of Manifestos of the Haute Ecole d’art et de design (HEAD) in Geneva, the author’s latest opus carla demierre is the light and poetic story, between a picnic in the woods, a mushroom sandwich and a visit to an exhibition, of a day spent by Maggy and Sam, two lovers. Two humans in love who are not binary, and that changes everything. Inclusive writing accompanies them, sometimes terribly ostentatious – “there is something to be upset regarding”, or even “Maggie seemed gay-ex, serene-ex, sure-ex of æl”. In the flow of reading, however, strangely, these political signs of equality almost end up melting, bulging the torso just enough, letting settle a little modern and joyful music.
