Vienna (OTS) – The Carinthian Greens missed entering the state parliament on Sunday. Federal spokesman for the Greens Werner Kogler and Federal Managing Director Angela Stoytchev thank Olga Voglauer and her team, who, despite difficult circumstances, ran tirelessly for more climate protection in Carinthia.
“The result is not what we wanted and hoped for. It is a pity that this election in Carinthia did not succeed in convincing more people of our topics and approaches. Nevertheless, our thanks go to Olga Voglauer, who does good and important work in Carinthia. Thanks are also due to all those Carinthians who voted for climate protection and voted green today. We know: Working for climate protection is a marathon and not a sprint. In any case, we will continue to fight for the survival of our planet – in the federal government as well as in Carinthia. The Greens are always and everywhere a strong voice for climate protection,” said Kogler and Stoytchev.
