Sucher: No other party in Carinthia goes into an election with as much commitment and heart as the SPÖ Carinthia and Peter Kaiser
Klagenfurt – “Today, on the day of the pre-election, we once once more symbolically presented the strongest program for Carinthia in Klagenfurt: More than 300 SPÖ Carinthia members showed their support for the program in Rosentaler Straße and Völkermarkter Straße this morning from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m SPÖ Carinthia and the state party chairman Peter Kaiser made visible!” said SPÖ Carinthia state manager Andreas Sucher.
Banners and signs were used to draw attention to the most important topics from the election program of the SPÖ Carinthia and to the top candidate Peter Kaiser – without hindering the early traffic in any way. On the contrary – there was a lot of waving, greetings and laughing! Over 300 members and SPÖ supporters wished the people of Carinthia a good morning. “Never before have so many volunteered for this campaign. The option to register had to be closed early,” says Sucher.
The SPÖ Carinthia has been relying on unconventional election for a decade: “Large-scale posters and newspaper ads cannot convey the emotion, passion and commitment of the SPÖ Carinthia and Peter Kaiser – our members can! On a cold Friday morning, they take the time to present our ideas, our program and our candidates with freezing hands but a big smile – free of charge, voluntarily and with pleasure. Which other party in Carinthia is so excited regarding an electoral movement? Thanks to everyone involved for this great effort,” says Sucher.
For marathon man LH Peter Kaiser it was the 34th election marathon station today. By the election Sunday on March 5, he will have completed the entire election marathon distance. The official end of the SPÖ Carinthia election movement will be on Friday, March 3rd. Hundreds of supporters and friends are expected on the cathedral square in Klagenfurt for the symbolic finish – the event starts at 4 p.m.
