After losing 8-1 to Tigres de Aragua on Saturday, Caribes de Anzoátegui triumphed 8-7 against Leones del Caracas on Sunday, to inaugurate their record of victories in the 2024-2025 season.

The Indigenous Machinery won, as a visitor, at the Monumental stadium of Caracas-Simón Bolívar, where they left their record at 1-1 in the first week of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), identical record to that held by the long-haired men who beat Águilas del Zulia 11-4 on Saturday in the same capital sporting arena.

The success in the regular round match was achieved by Richard Guasch (1-0), while the setback was suffered by Jhon Romero (0-1).

For Caribes, shortstop Leonel Valera stood out, who scored perfectly in three turns. He had a single, a double and a solo home run. The player scored one run and drove in three.
