The Saturday preseason training session of Caribes de Anzoátegui passed without any incorporation, for the aborigines. It was the sixth day of practice for the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) club at the Jesús Rizales de Guanta stadium.

Group two of pitchers held their second bullpen session. Names such as Leonard García, Saúl Terán Franklin Gil and Richard Brito participated in the activity, reported Eduardo Medina, a member of the Caribes press department.

For Brito, it is his first preseason experience with the indigenous uniform, after arriving at the club in the middle of the last harvest.

“I have been working with the team since day one. “I want to improve my sinker since my straight pitch is working and I would like to alternate them,” said the right-hander.

I work in the summer

Brito comes from working in the Frontier League, with New England Knockouts. In seven starts he left a 3-0 record. He worked 43.0 innings, allowed 18 earned runs and posted a 3.98 ERA.

For their part, the position players continued with their defensive work and batting practice, continuing with the planning sent by manager Morgan Ensberg.

The sessions will continue this Sunday, with a simulated game taking place at 10:00 am.
