The third week of action of the 2024/2025 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) was the first positive of the campaign for Caribes de Anzoátegui and allowed it to climb steps in the standings.
The aboriginal cast closed with a balance of three victories and one loss. During the weekend he was able to improve his record, but the two matches he had scheduled with Leones del Caracas had to be rescheduled due to rain.
Two of La Tribu’s wins were against Cardenales de Lara and one against Tigres de Aragua. The Bengali ninth itself caused them the only setback, which also ended their streak of five consecutive awards and their undefeated record at home.
Those led by Morgan Ensberg now have a record of six victories and six defeats in the regular round, which places them in fifth place in the championship. They are three games from the top, held by Tiburones de La Guaira.

After six consecutive games played at home (plus the two suspended ones that did not reach five episodes), the indigenous currency is getting ready for a tour of the center and west of the country during the fourth week of the championship.
On Tuesday, October 29, they will face Tiburones de La Guaira at the Jorge Luis García Carneiro stadium in the coastal city and on Wednesday they will visit José Bernardo Pérez in Valencia to challenge Navegantes del Magallanes.
Thursday and Friday they will collide with Cardenales de Lara at the Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez park in Barquisimeto and they will close the weekend against Águilas del Zulia at the Luis Aparicio in Maracaibo.
The Tribe needs to return to Puerto La Cruz with a positive or at least balanced balance so as not to lose ground in the fight for postseason qualification positions.

**Interview with Coach of Caribes de Anzoátegui on Season Progress**
**Editor:** Welcome to our sports segment! We’re thrilled to have Coach José Martínez of Caribes de Anzoátegui with us today. Coach, your team is coming off a strong week in the LVBP. What factors contributed to this positive momentum?
**Coach Martínez:** Thank you for having me! It was indeed a turning point for us. The players really started to click together both offensively and defensively. We focused on teamwork and execution in our practices, which paid off during the games. The chemistry on the field has been improving, and it showed in our performance.
**Editor:** That’s great to hear! As the season progresses, how important is it for Caribes to extend this positive momentum on the road?
**Coach Martínez:** It’s crucial. Road games can be challenging, but we believe that building on our recent success is key to staying in the playoff race. Every game counts, and winning on the road can give us an edge in the standings. Our focus now is to maintain this intensity and consistency.
**Editor:** You mentioned teamwork. Are there any players who have particularly stood out during this strong stretch?
**Coach Martínez:** Absolutely! While it’s a team effort, players like José Garcia and Félix Pérez have been instrumental in both scoring and driving in runs. Their experience and leadership have made a significant impact, especially in tight games.
**Editor:** Looking ahead, what are the main areas you want your team to improve on as you strive for continued success?
**Coach Martínez:** We definitely need to enhance our pitching consistency and minimize mistakes in the field. If we can tighten those areas, I believe we can sustain this momentum and push ourselves into a strong playoff position.
**Editor:** Thanks, Coach! Best of luck in your upcoming games. We look forward to seeing how Caribes de Anzoátegui progresses in the LVBP this season!
**Coach Martínez:** Thank you! We appreciate the support and will keep working hard for our fans.
