71 million euros for care in Tyrol
The state’s “5 times more care package” is dedicated to five areas of care. With measures in these areas, the work situation for nursing staff in Tyrol should be further improved.

ÖGB: Further measures must follow
The ÖGB is also satisfied with the “flexibilisation surcharge”. This would be a further step towards improvement for employees. Nevertheless, the way to a good and comprehensive care package would still be a long way, warns Tyrol’s ÖGB chairman Philip Wohlgemuth.
In the future there will be financial compensation analogous to the collective agreement of the Austrian Social Economy (SWÖ) for stepping in.
