Asunción, IP Agency.- The First Health Region of Concepción announced the opening of the new office specialized in the prevention and care of cardiovascular diseases at the Yby Yau Health Center. This service is intended for patients with conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, heart failure and heart rhythm disorders, who will be able to access studies such as the electrocardiogram and withdraw medications.
The office will operate from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., under a first-come, first-served system. Patients diagnosed with chronic cardiovascular diseases will have the opportunity to undergo essential studies, such as the electrocardiogram, which is essential for the diagnosis and monitoring of pathologies such as hypertension and arrhythmias.
This new service is part of efforts to improve primary health care and strengthen chronic disease prevention programs in the region, guaranteeing more accessible and efficient care for the local community.
