With the support of the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) and the Anzoátegui Football Association (AFA), the final of the State Development League, category 2015, was held this Saturday, in which La Caraqueña FC defeated Academía Manglar FC 2-1 to be crowned champion.

The decisive match was played at the Ciudad Vinotinto field, located in Lechería, Urbaneja municipality.

Goals

The score was opened by Enrique Cruz, owner of the number 7, in the first half. After the break, Alexander Vargas (23) scored to tie the score at 1-1. The goal that sealed the victory for Portocruzanos was scored by Ángel Chourio (9).

Arcenio Jiménez, La Caraqueña’s coach, said he is “grateful to God for this hard-fought and hard-fought championship. The children came out with a lot of attitude, as is the case with these types of games. Thanks to perseverance and discipline, this long-awaited trophy was achieved in the Development League.”

He stressed that these children have only been playing football for one year.
