People who have lost their civil rights during the years of their exile, to get them back by a special law. Representatives of the expatriate organizations of Bulgarian citizens from the Thrace region of Turkey requested help for this from the leader of the DPS, Mustafa Karadai. From the first day of the election campaign, we have been meeting with the people to understand their problems in order to make the citizens’ agenda the agenda of the next National Assembly, said Karadai. And he added: “We met with the emigrants from Bulgaria to hear their problems and seek their solution”.
The emigrants from Bulgaria requested that representatives of the Bulgarian state visit them more often, in order to find out on the spot what they need.
Our visit is to celebrate the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and to organize iftar dinners. Tonight we will have iftar in Istanbul, and tomorrow night in Bursa, Karadai told Turkish journalists following the conversation.
Important elections will be held in Bulgaria on April 2. Our goal is to perform well and be part of management. In Bulgaria, Boyko Borisov had a one-man rule for 12 years, and we were the opposition. In the last 2 years there has been a political crisis in Bulgaria and a regular government cannot be formed. Our goal is to perform well and participate with our expertise and experience in the next administration, emphasized the DPS leader.
There are many problems in Bulgaria, there is an economic crisis. These problems can only be solved by the DPS, he added. After the devastating earthquake in Turkey, our party structures organized a donation campaign, in which all Bulgarian citizens participated, Karadai added. And he added: “We share the grief and pain of the Turkish people, we wanted to help. We showed that if we unite, how strong we are. We sent more than 150 tons of food and clothes, 150 containers, more than 1,000 tents, more than 7,500 camping beds. “.
We collected more than BGN 2.5 million in our donation account. We did what we might. Everything we did may not be much, but moral support and empathy are important, emphasized the DPS leader. Our election slogan is “Reason, Responsibility, Dialogue!”. It has a deep meaning. We say that if voters vote wisely, DPS will become the first political force. Unfortunately, there are prejudices, that’s why we say – our goal is to become part of the next regular government, summarized Karadai.
People in Edirne are keenly interested in what is happening in Bulgaria, they sympathize with all the unrest, as a large part of their relatives and friends are in Bulgaria, Hassan Azis added.
Also participating in the talks were Mehmed Ataman, chairman of the regional council of the Haskovo DPS, Lyatif Rasim – chairman of the Kardzhali DPS Regional Council, Yusein Ahmed, chairman of the legislative body of the Kardzhali municipality and a candidate national representative from 9 MIR, as well as Guner Cetin, deputy. – Mayor of Chorlu Municipality.
