According to the first records, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. this Saturday at kilometer 39.5.

“When trying to carry out a maneuver to be able to avoid this group of animals, (the driver) loses control of the mobile, causing it to overturn on the side of the road,” reported the Captain Eduardo Oyarce of the 57th Carabineros Motorized Police Station.
The vehicle was traveling with 12 people insidewithout having the conditions to transport that number of passengers.
Product of the accident “were injured eight adults and four children with injuries of various considerations,” said the police officer.
Of the adults, four suffered life-threatening injuries, for which they were taken to the hospital. Talagante Hospital.
Personnel from the Carabineros Traffic Accident Investigation Section investigate the incident to clarify the dynamics and responsibilities.
