As a reminder, the Jury of the COTY 2022 edition is composed of:

The 18 vehicles eligible for the Car of the Year 2022 election were made up of the following makes and models:
AUDI A3 SPORTBACK – CITROËN C4 – DACIA LOGAN – DACIA SANDERO – HYUNDAI CRETA – HYUNDAI I10 – HYUNDAI TUCSON – KIA SORENTO – MERCEDES CLASSE C – RENAULT EXPRESS DFSK SERES 3 – SEAT ARONA – SKODA OCTAVIA – TOYOTA YARIS – TOYOTA VOLARY – VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 8 – VOLKSWAGEN T-ROC.
The static and dynamic tests took place on Wednesday March 23, 2022, thus allowing the Jury to determine a panel of 7 vehicles selected from the 18 nominees, under the control of a notary and according to the criteria of the internal regulations, namely:
• Design/Functionality/Innovation – Performance/Safety/Comfort
• Consumption/Environment – Price/Equipment ratio.
Following these tests, the 7 finalist vehicles for COTY 2022 are: CITROËN C4 – DACIA SANDERO – HYUNDAI TUCSON – KIA SORENTO – MERCEDES C-CLASS TOYOTA YARIS – VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 8.
The ranking of the 7 vehicles is as follows:
1st: Citroën C4 / 330 points; 2nd: Toyota Yaris / 287 points; 3rd: Dacia Sandero /273 points 4th KIA SORENTO/ 250 points; 5th Hyundai Tucson / 217 points; 6th: Mercedes C-Class / 202 points 7th: Volkswagen Golf 8 / 167 points. Thus, the vehicle elected by the “Car of the Year 2022” Jury is the CITROËN C4, revealed to the public on Thursday May 12, 2022.
