Car Insurance in Siena. Average Premiums Increased by 7 Percent in Six Months – La Nazione

Last July, the average premiums for insuring a car in Siena increased by 6.99 percent on a six-month basis, reaching 526.48 euros, that is, about 34 euros more than in January. In Tuscany, the increase was 5 percent and the average premium was 671.58 euros, that is, about 32 euros more than at the beginning of the year. The data came from the joint Observatory Facile.it-Assicurazione.it. According to the surveys, the lowest RC auto premium calculated over the last month, considering all the quotes compared, was 112.82 euros. Among the additional guarantees, the most popular in the month of July in the province of Siena was roadside assistance, requested by 48.85 percent of users who added an additional coverage to the RC auto. Not only that: cars in the province of Siena have an average age of 14.70 years.

Analyzing the data collected in July, it emerges that, on a six-monthly basis, average premiums have increased throughout the region, with the exception of the provinces of Arezzo and Pistoia. Grosseto and Massa-Carrara have seen the highest increases; Prato and Massa-Carrara have been the most expensive provinces. The most significant increase on a six-monthly basis was recorded in the province of Grosseto, where the premium

average in the six months rose by 10.3%.

Looking at the data from the Observatory of Facile.it, it emerges that, in July, the Tuscan province where car insurance costs the most is Prato, where the average premium reached 880.29 euros, almost 40 percent more than the national average. Siena, with its 526.48 euros, is right at the bottom of the list.
