Agapito “N” was captured in the central park of San Pedro La Laguna, Sololá, accused of the crime of continuous fraud, reported the Public Ministry.
The Nahualá Fiscal Agency, in coordination with the Police Information Division of Quetzaltenango, captured the aforementioned person.
The man arrested on Thursday, August 1, is accused of having defrauded four people of their assets in the amount of Q115,000 in the period from December 2019 to February 2022.
He asked them for money with the supposed promise of processing visas for them to the United States.
In another case, the National Civil Police reported that Luisa “N”, 57 years old, was captured on Las Palmas road, Retalhuleu.

The action was in compliance with an arrest warrant for special cases of fraud. The detainee is wanted by a court in Suchitepéquez.
