Capcom faced a typical remake release problem. The names of the new and old Resident Evil 4 matched
In 2023, they plan to release a remake of Resident Evil 4. That’s just the postscript “remake“The fans assigned the project, and on Steam the game was simply called Resident Evil 4.
The problem is that Resident Evil 4 was already on Steam and Capcom did not remove the original game from the Valve service and other stores. The game will continue to be sold, but under a different name.
Capcom to avoid confusion renamed the old game rresident ewill 4 (2005)and the remake is simply called Rresident Ewill 4. AT PS Store did the same.
The title of a Capcom classic is capitalized. It seems that this is done deliberately, because. in others services writing is similar.
EA did the same with the Dead Space remake. adding original title “Dead Space (2008)”.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is scheduled to release on March 24, 2023.
