On Thursday followingnoon, an accident occurred on Axenstrasse in the canton of Schwyz. According to a local news scout, a car traveling in the direction of Zurich entered the oncoming lane and crashed into an oncoming car. Several people may have been injured, and four ambulances were on site at times. Pictures from the News Scout also show how two Rega helicopters left the scene of the accident at around 6 p.m. The Schwyz canton police confirmed the accident and the use of the rescue service. Accordingly, the 40-year-old driver and her three children between the ages of three and eight were slightly to seriously injured. Due to the clean-up work and further investigations, Axenstrasse was closed from 4.45 p.m. until just before 7 p.m., and traffic was diverted via Lucerne.
