As part of the development and maintenance work on the tracks currently being carried out by CFF between Lausanne and Vevey, interventions are scheduled for the weekend in order to limit the inconveniences suffered by passengers. This will be the case at the end of this week and journeys on this Vaudois section will be disrupted between Saturday March 19 at 12:30 a.m. and Sunday March 20, until the end of service. The CFF have mobilized staff in the stations concerned to inform passengers.

The trains will therefore run according to a modified timetable. The InterRegio will be diverted by Palézieux, which will increase the travel time between Lausanne and Vevey by around twenty minutes. The RegioExpress will be deleted. Some RER Vaud trains will run with a modified timetable and replacement buses will provide the Vevey-Lausanne and Vevey-Puidoux-Chexbres routes.

Finally, the TGV and Eurocity will also run with a modified schedule, but this had already been announced to passengers when making reservations.

The schedule will resume its normal course Monday morning, March 21, as soon as the service opens. And the CFF are already announcing that other disruptions on this section are planned for the weekends of April 30-May 1 as well as that of May 14-15.
