Canon launches the EOS R6 Mark II camera in Brazil with video recording at up to 6K and more

Canon announced the launch of the EOS R6 Mark II camera in the Brazilian market. The mirrorless model (without a mirror) is an evolution of the equipment already known among enthusiasts, the EOS R6, therefore, it comes with several new features inside.

According to the manufacturer, the EOS R6 Mark II features a Full Frame CMOS sensor with 24.2 million pixels and can record images at a speed of 40 FPS, in addition to recording videos in 6K RAW via HDMI and 4K up to 60P internally.


The model uses the same DIGIC X processor technology present in the EOS R5, EOS R6 and EOS-1D X Mark III. The EOS R6 Mark II also supports Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, which promises to keep objects and people sharp as they move through a scene.

The camera also uses artificial intelligence with deep learning to recognize people, vehicles and animals, even in motion. Another point highlighted by Canon as an attraction for the EOS R6 Mark II is the advanced eye detection.


Users can specify which eye (left or right) should have focus priority, and when eyes cannot be detected, the EOS R6 Mark II focuses on the face, even if a person turns away for a moment, their head remains. to be accompanied.

When using the sensor’s full width, the EOS R6 Mark II can record in 4K 60p, with simultaneous AF II Dual Pixel CMOS focusing. The camera also outputs 6K RAW via its HDMI output, which can be recorded to an Atomos Ninja V+ recorder in ProRes RAW.
