Canon provides from 13.-16. October for extensive entertainment at the PHOTOPIA in Hamburg

October 4th, 2022. From October 13th to 16th, Canon will be present with its comprehensive product portfolio at PHOTOPIA in Hamburg. Photo walks, workshops, mini master classes and presentations by the Canon Ambassadors round off the insight into their own product worlds. In addition, the Canon B2B Roadshow will stop at PHOTOPIA and show innovative business solutions for a modern and digitized working environment.

Concentrated imaging power on 600 square meters

Also this year, the Canon Experience Area is located in Hall A4, at Stand 116 directly at the main entrance, where all visitors can experience the entire product portfolio up close. Product experts are available at the Canon Expert Bar for individual advice and a variety of photo spots directly at the stand offer various creative opportunities to try out the Canon equipment yourself on site. Regardless of whether you are enthusiastic regarding macros, telephoto lenses, printers (up to large format) or live streaming, the numerous stations at the Canon booth cover all photographic and videographic interests of the PHOTOPIA community.

The Canon Academy photo walks

As part of PHOTOPIA 2022, the Canon Academy is offering two-hour photo walks. The participants explore the area around Messe Hamburg and take a new, creative look at the architecture, people and situations and thus learn to capture the unique atmosphere of a city. In order to test a wide variety of Canon equipment, the trainers have cameras and lenses with them – including the new APS-C models EOS R7 and EOS R10. Interested parties can already secure a place online for the special price of €29. The starting point is the Canon Academy info container. More information regarding the Canon Academy events can be found here: www.academy.canon.de/de_DE/im-fokus/canon-auf-der-photopia-2022.

Photo workshop BMX action with Richard Walch

Especially in dynamic sports it is important to catch the perfect moment. In the best action shots, time seems to stand still, the momentum is frozen at the moment of greatest tension, so that the top performance and total focus of the athletes becomes visible. On Saturday, October 15th, an exclusive BMX Action Workshop with the sports photographer and Canon Ambassador Richard Walch and the BMX top biker Camillo will take place right next door to the PHOTOPIA. Participants of all levels learn what is important in action photography. More information and the registration page can be found here. Registrations are possible until October 5th.

Another highlight of PHOTOPIA are the compact mini master classes at the Canon booth. The practical sessions last 15 minutes and offer an intensive experience with lots of tips and practical know-how. The following three mini master classes take place several times a day:

The free 15-minute mini-masterclasses take place several times a day.
