The sudden death of actor Charles Dean (32), who appeared in the movie ‘Triangle of Sadness’, which won the Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, has been reported.

According to foreign media such as the Daily Mail, Dean, a South African model and actor, passed away on the 29th (local time) at a hospital in New York, USA.

The cause of death is not officially known. However, it is said that he died suddenly from a viral infection of the lungs, and the family is waiting for the results of the autopsy.

“After suffering a headache, I told my fiancée to take him to the hospital,” Dean’s brother told local media, “It happened literally in one day.” “We are not sure what happened,” he continued. It will take some time as the autopsy is in progress.”

Dean reportedly took boxing lessons just three days before his death. His trainer, Gary Stark Jr., said of Dean: “She wasn’t sick and she had a lot of energy. The day Dean died, she suddenly canceled her class. She never cancels. So I just thought she was busy and I thought she would see me soon. So she didn’t take it seriously.”

Dean received a hot spotlight at the 75th International Film Festival held in Cannes, France in May as ‘Triangle of Sadness’.

The deceased’s death occurred just weeks before the release of ‘Triangle of Sadness’. Filmmakers and fans around the world are mourning the sudden death of a promising actor.

Survivors include the deceased’s parents, Johann and Joanne Creek, younger brother Alexi, and fiancée Luke Volker.

Luke Volker, who is known to have been dating the deceased for four years, posted a video on his social media after Dean’s shocking death, saying, “I wanted to post a picture of Charby, but it’s a bit difficult.”

After working as a model, Charles Dean started his career as a full-fledged actor with the South African movie ‘Spurd’ in 2010. She appeared in ‘She’s Pacific Standard Time’ and ‘Don’t Sleep’.
