The local police in Antwerp this week intercepted a postal parcel containing 4.5 kilos of cannabis. A search that followed allowed investigators to get their hands on six kilos of ketamine.
After receiving information from Spain, the police contacted the delivery service. It then appeared that the package had just been delivered. Investigators then searched the delivery address and found the package, which contained a large amount of cannabis. In the house, they also discovered ketamine. A suspect was arrested and placed under arrest warrant.
Interceptions of parcels led in 2022, in Antwerp, to seven arrests as well as the seizure of 530 grams of cocaine, 44,586 ecstasy pills, more than 1,000 pills of 2C-B, four kilos of amphetamines , more than 15 kilos of ketamine, 4,420 doses of LSD, seven kilos of MDMA, 560 grams of crystal meth and finally a sum of 6,500 euros.
